  • Basic Concepts

    The first module of this course will cover some basic negotiation concepts, including what negotiation is, what types of negotiation exist, what skills a negotiator needs, and what the basic phases of negotiation are.

  • Preparing for Negotiation

    During this module, participants will learn some things that they can do before a negotiation to increase their chances of success, including identifying their hot buttons and identifying their WAP, BATNA, and ZOPA.

  • Responding to Challenges

    Participants will learn some ways to stay calm, how to work with the other party, ways to avoid power struggles, and how to stay focused.

  • Creating a Win-Win Solution

    This module will teach participants five ways to create a win-win solution: keep an open mind, make the most of brainstorming, think outside the box, use resources, and identify common ground.

  • Developing a Sustainable Agreement

    Our last module will look at what a sustainable is and how to create one.
